HOW I CAN HELP YOU
As a dutch businessman who is already more then 20 years dealing with the business with the Eastern Europe, CIS countries, Georgia and Ukraine I have found out that these countries have a lot of potency in its consumer goods, woodwork and timber, food industry. And as a dutch man I know the way how to help the enterpreneurs from these countries to show their possibilities to the Dutch market through my network, business experience, knowledge of both cultures and a will to support enterpreneurs in the field where they are not known with the local approach. .
WHO I AM
My name is John Cornelissen and I am passionate about organizing projects. I find this every day since my 20th in the logistics where I started from a courier bus driver during my study and grew up to the owner of a logistic company.
The offer to work for a company which actively operated in the market of transportation services in the CIS countries was my first step in that market. Quite frankly, at first I had a rather dim idea where Moscow itself was situated. From my very first day and all through my seven years of work there I was constantly learning something new, something interesting. My interests were not restricted to provision of logistical services - I also wanted to learn more about this part of the world – about Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, other CIS countries.
My main hobby – football – is very much like transportation business when you deal with the CIS countries. Similarly to a football field, here you constantly find yourself facing situations dealing with which makes even stronger and more… savvy? But the fundamental principle is the same – you know what you want to achieve and you decide for yourself which way you will pursue to attain your goal.
